The summer months have been full of joy, sunshine, and togetherness here at Fairby. Our annual Summer Fete was a wonderful success, bringing families, friends, and residents together for an afternoon of celebration. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we proudly raised over £1,000, which will go towards enriching future activities and outings. Residents loved spending time outdoors with their loved ones, enjoying the BBQ, homemade cakes, and lively entertainment.
Throughout the season, we continued our weekly visits to the Memory Café, where familiar faces, warm conversations, and gentle activities offer comfort and connection. We’ve also welcomed a variety of singers who filled the home with music, creating many moments of dancing, tapping feet, and happy smiles.
Now that the summer period has come to an end, we’re delighted to have our nursery children back for their monthly visits. Their energy and laughter brighten the home, and our residents thoroughly enjoy playing games, sharing stories, and spending time together.
As we move into autumn, we look forward to more outings, more entertainment, and more shared moments that make Fairby such a special place.
