Our cheerful and friendly staff provide around the clock care for all our residents

One of the Doctors from the Longfield Medical Centre visits every week to see any residents who have any non urgent medical problems.

We have our own Hairdressing Salon and Linda, our hairdresser visits every Thursday.  Her charges are very reasonable.  You may also use this facility for you own hairdresser if you wish.

Our Chiropodist visits every six weeks to look after your feet.  This service is not included in our fees, though we do ensure that their charges are very reasonable.

We can also arrange for visits from other domiciliary services such as dentists, opticians or physiotherapists if you require them.

 The majority of Care Assistants hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 and some have achieved Level 3 in Care.

Janet, our  Activities” takes into account the resident’s interests, skills, experiences, personalities and medical condition. We offer a wide range of activities designed to encourage residents to maintain mobility, and most importantly take an interest in life. Staff encourage and help residents to pursue their hobbies and interests.

We have a ‘communal service’ once a month on a tuesday morning in the lounge.  This is hosted by our local vicar and his assistant who plays the piano to accompany our hymn singing.

We will also do our very best to arrange for any other religious or spiritual needs you may require.
