Christmas Party 2010

Fairby’s Christmas Party 2010

Everybody at Fairby Grange would like to wish all the residents and their families Health Wealth & Happiness for the New Year and thank you for all your support during 2010.

Steve Erickson entertained us with his songs and stories and everybody enjoyed the Christmas Party. The mince pies & mulled wine went down well as did the sherry.

We were pleased to see the Reverend Jim Fletcher he handed out the Christingle Oranges and said a few words explaining their meaning.

Having the party at 7.30pm went down well as many more family members attended and we would like to thank them for their support to the resident’s fund.

The raffle was well supported & I would like to thank Doris James & Betty for decorating the prizes so nicely.  We managed to raise £67 for the residents fund.

Thirty children from Hartley Primary School came and entertained us for the afternoon singing Carols. They had wonderful voices and sang some lovely carols and it was lovely to see them again this year.

We would like to thank cook Marion for cooking a fabulous Christmas dinner for us it was delicious. It was lovely to see Roses family and Gladys’s son joining us for dinner.
Santa visited us and he had presents for everyone.
